SaluteTheNHS.org was established by British businessman Ron Dennis CBE, best known for his former role as a major shareholder, CEO, chairman and founder of The McLaren Technology Group and the food and catering expert Nigel Harris, owner of Absolute Taste and former owner of Fresh Direct - one of the largest fresh food providers in the UK.
With an original grant of £1 million already donated and a further £500,000 pledged for match funding by DreamChasing (The Dennis Foundation) and production facilities and logistics provided by Nigel, along with an army of experts and kind partners - SaluteTheNHS.org has been created to help fight the war on Covid-19, bringing together results-driven professionals with deep experience in highly technical teamwork, strategic logistics, the production of safe, nutritious food and above all, the knowledge of what it takes to win. Ron is co-ordinating with, and receiving significant support and close co-operation from central Government, our hospitals, the army and other front-line organisations to ensure we support them with what they need.
